This KS1 & KS2 Creative Learning workshop is available for up to 4 groups of 35 pupils for 1 hour each - up to 140 pupils in one day.

These KS1 & KS2 Creative Learning Workshops were originally commissioned by Burnley Borough Council as part of their initiative to encourage recycling and compliment our existing Play in a Day recycling workshops.

What Goes Around, Comes Around explores the impact that recycling has on our environment and is an essential part of educating young people about the environment around them, and how the future of our planet is in their hands.

There’s a Commotion in the Ocean. Every year thousands of marine animals die as a result of plastic litter dumped in the worlds oceans. 80% of that litter comes from land based sources.

Huge quantities of toxic carbon emissions continue to choke our planet daily.

Landfill Overspill. Globally, a colossal 1.3 billion tons of landfill waste is being produced annually, with a projected increase to 2.2 billion tons by 2025.  What can we do to stop all of this getting worse? And how does taking responsibility in our own household recycling help to save our planet?

Find out the answers to these questions and more in our new and exciting workshop! Through a series of established drama techniques and activities your students will be able to explore these issues in greater depth in an informative and fun way.

This workshop is led by one of our experienced workshop facilitators and we can accommodate up to 140 pupils per day.
